Students
We are pleased to offer students 20% off of our complete rental pool with proof of a valid student ID. This extends out to those attending night school or continuing education classes.
AM/FM Club Members
AM/FM members receive 10% off all rentals.
Try Before You Buy
Eyeing up that 70-200 but you want to make sure it's the right lens for you? Try renting first, and if you decide to purchase, we will use your weekend/day rental as a credit if your purchase is made within a timely manner.
Rent More, Earn More
The more you rent, the more you'll earn store credit. Downtown Camera will credit 2% of all rental transactions towards a purchase at the end of the year (your year begins the day of your first rental and expires at the end of said year).

Free Roll + Processing on Film Camera Rentals
Rent one of our many film cameras we'll give you one free roll of select film with rush processing + JPEG scans included.
Giving You Your Full Shoot Day
We want you to have your gear for your full shoot day. That's why rentals are booked with a pick up the afternoon after 3pm before your shoot day, and a return the morning after before 12pm giving you the full 24 hours of the day with the equipment. Weekends are booked for Friday to Monday.
What's Required
We require two pieces of valid photo ID as well as a credit card for rentals. Security deposits will be taken for the replacement value of the equipment, however a certificate of insurance can be used in lieu of (whether yearly or temporary such as Gear Policy).
Service Discounts
Have a camera in for service but your shoot is around the corner? We offer 50% off of rental rates of the same/similar equipment as you have currently in service with us.
Weekend Rates
Our weekend rate is billed as a single day rental. Weekend rates are applied when equipment is picked up Friday after 3pm and returned the following Monday by 12pm.
Flexibility
We know every shoot is different and we're here to support our community. Need to pick up early? Have a weird request? Just let us know, we're happy to accommodate whatever the situation might be.
