To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the commercialization of the Cosina Voigtlander brand, Cosina is pleased to announce the release of the APO-LANTHAR 50mm F3.5 VM Limited, an anniversary limited edition model (limited to 250 units in each color).

The BESSA-L interchangeable lens film camera and its interchangeable lenses, the SUPER WIDE-HELIAR 15mm F4.5 and SNAPSHOT SKOPAR 25mm F4, were the first products commercialized by Cosina Co., Ltd. under the Voigtlander brand. For the 25 years since then, we have been developing, manufacturing, and selling Voigtlander cameras, interchangeable lenses, and various accessories under the Voigtlander brand with the goal of providing experience value that includes not only the performance of optical products, but also the joy of taking pictures and the joy of owning photographic equipment.

The APO-LANTHAR 50mm F3.5 Limited is a limited edition model with an olive, grey and navy exterior paint and will be produced in 250 pieces in each color. Based on the already released APO-LANTHAR 50mm F3.5 Type I (two-tone), the distance adjustment ring and hood have been changed to olive, gray, and navy colors. The hood is made of brass with a heavy feeling, and the tip has a knurled finish. The lens is engraved with the limited edition No. Also included is a chrome-finished brass hood cap and a special lens rear cap made of all metal parts based on brass. It also comes with a lens carrying pouch for easy carrying.
