2024 Film Scavenger Hunt is Launched!

So...what is the gist of it?  

*On Dec. 22, 2024 Downtown Camera will announce a list of challenges

*Hunters have until Jan. 12, 2025 to...

• capture pictures on one roll of film that best interprets the challenges then
• process and email the roll to Downtown Camera for possible selection at presentation night

*At presentation night (which will be live streamed) on Friday Jan. 17th, the community will vote on which best interpreted the challenge

As mentioned previously, we are making it bigger than ever before as we have various film labs involved and anyone around the world can participate if they have the film, a way to scan it and email images!  Imagine!

If you would like to participate/be a "Hunter" and join in this event, purchase your tickets as follows:

Participation ticket from 2 choices:‍Film Already= $10.00‍= You have your own roll of Kodak UltraMax 400* or FujiFilm 400* to use. *Must use one of these films to participate in the hunt‍Need Film = $20.00‍= Purchase your roll of film for pick up on December 16th from participating labs:

• Annex Photo, Toronto**
• Borealis, Montreal**
• C41 Film Labs, Toronto**
• 60 Minutes Photo, Toronto**
• West Camera, Toronto**

Or Downtown Camera. Depending on availability of film, you may not have choice between Kodak or FujiFilm.
