December 2, 2025 – Sony Electronics introduces the Alpha 7 V (ILCE-7M5), the fifth generation of its popular Alpha 7 full-frame mirrorless line. Powered by a newly developed 33MP partially stacked Exmor RS™ CMOS sensor and the advanced BIONZ XR2™ image processor with AI integration, the Alpha 7 V delivers faster autofocus, improved tracking, enhanced color accuracy, and versatile still and video performance.

Alongside the camera, Sony launches the FE 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II, a compact, lightweight zoom lens designed to complement the Alpha 7 V’s high-speed shooting.
