Sony Introduces New ultra-compact 50mm, 40mm and 24mm G Lenses
In addition to the Sony FE 35mm F1.4 GM and the Sony FE 50mm F1.2 GM introduced a few weeks ago, Sony is also bolstering up the ultra-compact line up by announcing the FE 24mm F2.8 G, FE 40mm F2.5 G and the FE 50mm F2.5 G.
All these three lenses are built for still photographers and video creators, they deliver high resolution and beautiful bokeh in an ultra-compact lightweight package while sharing a 49mm diameter filter size, featuring aspherical lens elements for sharp detail across the entire image and an ED (Extra-low Dispersion)/Aspherical glass element to reduce chromatic aberration. The manual aperture ring w/ selectable on/off click for stills or movie, the programmable focus-hold button for multiple custom functions and its linear response manual focus for precise manual focus control.
